About Dr. Ullal
Dr. Meera Ullal is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY 30332) offering treatment to adolescents, adults, and families. Dr. Ullal offers evidence-based care including cognitive behavioral (CBT) and dialectical behavioral (DBT) therapies for a range of concerns including emotion dysregulation, trauma, depression, and anxiety.
Dr. Ullal also has specialized interest and training working with individuals with comorbid medical and mental health concerns. In addition to individual psychotherapy, Dr. Ullal enjoys supporting caregivers through parent training.
Alongside her role at MHI-BH, Dr. Ullal holds a faculty position at UC Davis Medical Center, where she teaches within the psychology and psychiatry training programs. Dr. Ullal completed her postdoctoral fellowship in Adolescent DBT at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fordham University, and her undergraduate degree in Psychology from UCLA.
Dr. Ullal employs a holistic approach to care. She values collaboration with patients to deepen insight into challenges while honing skills for lasting wellbeing.
